Slightly Abstract Hoverfly Eyes

This is just about the ultimate hand-held close up. Shot using a 90mm Tamron macro on 65mm extension tubes with a reversed 50mm f1.8 on the front. The only bit sharply in focus here are the balance hairs on the front of the paddle shaped organs, that protrude from the front of the Hoverfly face. The large round hemi-spheres are the eyes. I think I must have hypnotised the hoverfly as it didn't move throughout the shot!
